How did you get started in the web hosting field?
I have always loved working with computers. When I was in high school, I helped maintain my school’s website and learned the basics of HTML and hosting. I majored in computer information systems in college, and my professor helped me arrange a summer internship where I learned PHP and JavaScript.
When InMotion came up during my job search, I knew it would be a natural fit for my skill set.
What is your current role at InMotion Hosting and what do you like most about it?
I work as a Developer II, focusing on the product catalog and ordering process.
I love collaborating with other talented developers on my team to streamline and enhance our systems, and hopefully make life easier for both my colleagues and customers.
What is the coolest gadget you own, want to own, or have read about?
Definitely my steam deck now! Although it is a gaming PC, it has a portable form factor that is very similar to the Nintendo Switch. I love Steam’s huge game library and the flexibility of being able to play games on the go or on the couch connected to my TV.
What would you like to talk about yourself?
I’ve lived in Colorado most of my life and love it here. The nearby mountains and canyons are second to none, making it the perfect weekend getaway when you’re feeling a little burnt out. I also love sampling the amazing food here (especially the tacos).
