In celebration of the studio’s 10th anniversary, Grammy-nominated independent design studio Public-Library is proud to announce the pre-sale of its latest book, Dog Ears.
Published as a collection of iterative design explorations, this work investigates the deconstruction of a single sentence typeset within a single typeface, with the aim of understanding the engagement between content and form. Dog Ears features a foreword by poet, essayist, cultural critic, and MacArthur Fellow Hanif Abdulaqib.
Public-Library is a multidisciplinary design studio in Los Angeles, led by co-founders Ramon Coronado and Marshall Lake. The studio’s philosophy focuses on reductive work, inferring meaning while experimenting with space, form, and narrative to tease out nuance. They believe that honesty in collaboration paves the way for meaningful design solutions and lasting partnerships.
